Stop Icing

Put the ice down and stop icing that sprained ankle or sore shoulder. This is from our dear friend Kelly Starrett at Mobility WOD. This is a must watch if you re an athlete or someone who regularly ices.

 

Essentially a better model to treat soft muscle dysfunction is to move safely when you can, and how you can. Compress lymphatics and soft tissues (use bands, muscle contraction, clothing, normatec, etc.) and finally elevate when you can.
