Which whey to go – concentrate? Isolate? Hydrolysate? Sounds pretty technical, but each of these forms of whey protein can be considered most simply by their degrees of concentration. Let’s break it down. Whey consists of the soluble (the parts that can be dissolved in liquid) components from milk after it coagulates (becomes solid) and made into cheese. From here the protein is removed from the whey through a few different methods.
